Overview

Hanamaru Quiz is designed with your privacy in mind. We collect as little data as possible and do not track you in any way.

Data Collection

Hanamaru Quiz does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:

• No personal information — no name, no location, nothing you type
• No advertising or ad identifiers
• No account or login required
• No cookies or web tracking

Anonymous Usage Statistics (Optional)

If you choose to turn it on, Hanamaru Quiz counts which parts of the app get used — for example, that a quiz was completed or a tab was opened. These counts help us decide what to improve next.

• Off by default. Nothing is sent unless you say yes when the app asks (once), or turn it on in Settings. You can turn it off again at any time.
• Anonymous. The counts contain no personal information and cannot be linked back to you or your device. Your device's identifier is scrambled (salted and hashed) on the device before anything is sent, and hashed again on arrival, so neither we nor anyone else can reverse it.
• Processed by TelemetryDeck. Counts are processed by TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, on servers in the EU. No advertising, no data selling, no tracking across apps.

Any identifiers involved are used solely to support the internal operations of the app (counting aggregate feature usage) and are never used to contact or profile anyone.

iCloud Sync

If you have iCloud enabled, your quiz progress and stamp collection sync across your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit framework. This data is stored in your private iCloud container and is managed entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Third-Party Services

Apart from optional anonymous usage statistics processed by TelemetryDeck (described above), Hanamaru Quiz does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. We never sell or share data with anyone else.

Contact Form

If you contact us through the support page, we receive your name, email address, and message. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not stored beyond what is necessary to do so.

Children's Privacy

Hanamaru Quiz does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children. The optional usage statistics described above are anonymous, are off unless actively turned on, and are used solely to support the internal operations of the app — never to identify, contact, or profile anyone. The app is safe for use by people of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update it on this page with a new effective date.
